First Blog ever

Oh well today is the day I am creating my first blog ever; kind of ironically considering that today I am also training my co-workers on Digital media (I am the Digital expert in the office) but I have been slacking in adopting all these wonderful new digital tools available.
My purpose is to use this tool to share my ideas, experiences, likes, dislikes and to find people with whom I can exchange information of interest to both.
I will try to post something on a daily basis, schedule permitting.
To start with I am 30, married to a wonderful southern boy, work on advertising and media, enjoy running and triathlons, volunteer at Radio Lollipop, a radio station program for children in hospitals. I am originally from Quito, Ecuador and moved to the US for school 10 years ago; I went to school in Ohio (Ohio University - Go Bobcats) and then moved south during the Internet boom for a job on a start-up internet company.
I was very lucky to never get laid off when the internet boom blew and was able to find a job on another start up a few months before the company will shut its doors.
For the past 3 years I have been working for a traditional media agency doing both traditional and new media for a big multinational client; I love my job so far!!
